West Ham United are due to take on Burnley at Turf Moor at the weekend.

Slaven Bilic has told Football.London that Declan Rice could make his West Ham United debut against Burnley this weekend.

The Hammers are set to travel to Turf Moor on Sunday, and the pressure on Bilic’s side has been reduced.

West Ham have little to play for other than pride, as they are destined to finish in mid-table this season.

And Bilic has hinted that Rice could be in line to make his debut in the contest.

"Will he start this weekend? We will see," Bilic said. "He is extremely good for his age and is very good in training. He has a bright future ahead."

Rice is an 18-year-old centre-back, who has impressed at development level for the Hammers this season.

The youngster has been a regular starter for West Ham’s under-23’s, despite being one of the younger members of the squad.

There are extremely high hopes for Rice’s future at the London Stadium.

West Ham go into their match against Burnley on the back of a 4-0 defeat against Liverpool.
