Crystal Palace manager, Sam Allardyce, is considering making a move for Manchester City’s full-backs Bacary Sagna and Gael Clichy.

Both Sagna and Clichy will be out of contract at the end of this season, and City will allow them to leave the club.

Pep Guardiola wants to add quality full-backs to his ranks this summer, and has lined up the likes of Kyle Walker and Danny Rose (The Independent) as potential transfer targets.

According to reports from The Sun, Palace have been showing an interest in both Sagna and Clichy for a while, and are now ready to make a move.

With Palace’s Premier League status secured, they will be in a favourable position to lure both the French defenders to Selhurst Park this summer.

Sagna, 34, will be a good addition to the squad. The Frenchman has a wealth of experience under his belt, and he is fit enough to play regularly at the top level.

Clichy joined City in 2011, and has made 129 Premier League appearances for them. This season he has played 28 games in all competitions, and has scored two goals.

At 31, Clichy still has a lot more to offer. The former Arsenal defender should consider joining Palace where he will get regular first team opportunities.
