Burnley will take on West Ham at Turf Moor in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The Clarets have nothing to play for, as they have already made sure that they will not get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
As for West Ham, the London club will be playing for pride, as it does not look likely that they will break into the top 10 of the Premier League.
Owen has backed Burnley to pick up all three points from the Premier League game against West Ham on Sunday afternoon.
“As well as Liverpool played at the London Stadium last weekend I don’t think the Hammers played with the same intensity as they did against Spurs recently and they may find it difficult to get back up to that level of performance at Turf Moor,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.
“It is well documented that Turf Moor has been a fortress for the Clarets this term with 33 of their 40 points won on home soil, and I think they can end the campaign with a flourish.”
A footnote added: "Michael’s recommendation: Burnley to win at 13/10."
Given that neither Burnley nor West Ham have nothing much to play for, Sunday’s game could prove to be a low-key affairs.
There could be a few goals, though, as neither defence is particularly great, and if there are a couple of goals early on, then the fans at Turf Moor could be treated to a decent game. However, one should not be surprised if the match ends in a goalless draw.
