La Liga expert, Guillem Balague, has said that Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks has the makings of a top midfielder.
In a Q & A session with Sky Sports, Balague was asked this question - “Which Premier League player would you like see to move to a La Liga in the transfer window?”
The Sky Sports pundit replied that if it is a question of preference rather than likelihood, he would love to see Tottenham’s young midfielder, Winks, playing in the La Liga.
Balague admits that Winks has a bright future at Spurs, and that he won’t leave the north London club any time soon.
He adds that Winks would be challenged in different ways in Spain, and that he would love to see him playing for Real Madrid or Barcelona - two of Spain’s biggest clubs.

“If this is a question of preference rather than likelihood then I would like to see a player like Harry Winks in La Liga, where he would be challenged in a different ways," said Balague, as quoted by Sky Sports.
"He has the makings of a top midfielder. I know he will play a lot at Spurs and won’t go but I would love to see him at Barcelona or Real Madrid, even though he will be a key feature at Spurs for years to come.”
The 21-year-old youngster has come through the academy ranks at the club, and has made a strong impression in the 2016/17 season under Mauricio Pochettino.
The central midfielder has made 33 appearances in all competitions this season, before an ankle ligament injury brought an abrupt end to his season.
Winks is very highly rated by his manager and Balague’s comments goes on to reflect the player’s potential. Tottenham fans can only hope that Winks will fulfil his potential and become a top quality player in the future.
