Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic won against Partick Thistle in the Scottish Premiership on Thursday evening.

Chris Sutton has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Celtic’s victory over Partick Thistle away from home on Thursday evening.

The Hoops got the better of Thistle 5-0 at the Firhill Stadium in the Scottish Premiership, thanks to goals from Leigh Griffiths, Tom Rogic, Patrick Roberts (two) and Callum McGregor.

Former Celtic striker Sutton was following the match, and he has summed up the Hoops’ performance in the match in one word - "outstanding".

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Firhill Stadium on Thursday evening, hosts Thistle had 36% of the possession, took three shots of which two were on target, and earned one corner, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Celtic had 64% of the possession, took 25 shots of which 13 were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.

The performance of Brendan Rodgers’s side was superb, and some of the players were genuinely outstanding.
