HITC Sport understands a number of Championship clubs are eyeing former York youngster.
Former York City youngster Jamie Hopcutt is attracting interest from a number of Championship clubs after impressing in Sweden for Ostersund, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Hopcutt has bounced back from a broken leg which forced him to miss all of last season in the Allsvenskan by hitting the ground running this season.
Hopcutt helped Ostersund win the Swedish Cup final last month as they caused a shock against Norrkoping to book their place in the Europa League next season.
The 24-year-old attacker has proved he has recovered from his broken leg injury by scoring four goals in four Allsvenskan games this season.
Hopcutt has scored 37 goals and claimed 14 assists in 111 games for Ostersund since joining the Swedish side in 2012 after a successful trial at the club.
Hopcutt's progress at Ostersund has not gone unnoticed among clubs in England and the player is thought to be keen on trying his luck again in his homeland.
Hopcutt has two years to run on his current deal at Ostersund, but the Swedish club are unlikely to stand in his way if they receive an offer in the region of €1.25million (£1.07m) for the midfielder.
