Tottenham Hotspur have enjoyed a successful Premier League campaign thus far.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke to reporters during his pre-match press conference and discussed whether or not the club would listen to offers for Dele Alli in the summer, refusing to neither conform nor deny whether the 21-year-old will be at the club next term, as quoted by popular football news website Football.London.

The former MK Dons man has been in scintillating form this season, scoring 17 goals and chipping in with five assists in 35 Premier League outings, and his performances have been a major contributing factor behind Tottenham's successful domestic campaign thus far.

It is incredible to think that Alli was playing League One football with the Buckinghamshire outfit just two years ago, and his rise within the game has been quite a seismic one.

Pochettino, however, refused to be drawn on the England international's future, when fielding questions pertaining to whether the club would consider selling Alli, as quoted by Football.London:

"I cannot clarify the rumours. I did not listen to him, but I think he is committed to the club, but I did not hear properly his interview. I told you a few weeks ago. All the players we want will stay here next season and the players we maybe have an offer for and we decide to sell that is our decision. They are all under contract with the club. Always it's the club's decision to keep or sell the players."

Alli will surly be one of the players whom Pochettino will want to keep at all costs, because allowing him to leave, irrelevant of how much they are offered for his services, would send out the message that the club lack ambition.

The Lilywhites have definitely made progress this season, and in order to continue doing that, keeping the likes of the 21-year-old around will be of paramount importance to them.
