The winger will not be offered a new deal at Leeds United after a disappointing spell at Elland Road.

As revealed in a statement on the club’s official website this week, Leeds United have released winger Jordan Botaka, after the DR Congo international managed only 14 appearances for the Whites since arriving in 2015.
Botaka signed for Leeds from Dutch club Excelsior, for whom he scored 12 goals and provided 11 assists in 84 matches.
A quick glance at YouTube suggested Leeds had signed a maverick winger with a box of tricks, but cleverly edited video compilations can make the most ordinary players look spectacular and so it proved with Botaka.
The 23-year-old spent this season on loan at Charlton Athletic, with Leeds boss Garry Monk appearing to make a quick call on his ability.
He had previously fought his way back into the first-team fold under Steve Evans, but that was to be his last taste of first-team action at Elland Road.

Two goals and two assists in 29 matches for Charlton did not exactly set the pulses racing, but Botaka could leave Leeds feeling he was not given enough chances to prove himself.
