According to Tuttomercatoweb, Everton are interested in signing AC Milan midfielder, Juraj Kucka, in the summer transfer window, but could face strong competition from Torino.

The midfielder has a contract with the Serie A cub till 2019, but he appears to be edging towards the exit at San Siro.

Milan are looking to cash in on the player this summer, and Everton may launch a bid to tempt him to the Premier League.

Kucka has made 28 Serie A appearances for the Rossoneri this season and has scored three goals from his central midfield role.

Everton would be looking to bolster their midfield this summer. James McCarthy has an uncertain future at the club and could be sold. Additionally, Ronald Koeman needs to replace 36-year-old midfielder Gareth Barry as well.

Kucka is a vastly experienced player who can add steel and quality in the middle of the park for Everton. Primarily a central midfielder, he can play as a defensive midfielder, right back or a right sided forward as well.

With 1.8 tackles per game, according to whoscored.com, Kucka is very strong in tackling and defensive department of the game.

He would come at an affordable price, and could be tempted to play in the Premier League. The Slovakian star would be a handy signing for the Toffees.
