According to widespread reports, Barcelona and Real Madrid both want to sign Argentine star Dybala this summer.

The 23-year-old is said to be keen on a switch to La Liga and according to the Express prefers Barca over Real due to the lure of playing alongside friend and international team-mate Lionel Messi.

But should Barcelona get their man it could be bad news for Slaven Bilic at West Ham who have Dybala's ideal replacement in the shape of star man and compatriot Manuel Lanzini.

The former River Plate man has been sensational again for the Hammers this season, especially since stepping out from the shadow of the departed Dimitri Payet,

His goal against fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur last time out secured the club's Premier League safety but Lanzini's ambitions will be a lot loftier as he is desperate to break into the Argentina national team.

West Ham's key player has striking similarities to Dybala but possesses more pace and better defensive discipline than his compatriot.

Dybala is a consistent performer for one of Europe's leading clubs and has a better scoring record than Lanzini overall, although the West Ham midfielder has one more goal than the Juve man this season so far.

At 23 and 24 respectively Dybala and Lanzini are the future of Argentina's national side but the Hammers will be surely do everything in their power to keep him at the Olympic Stadium next season.

A huge bid may prove tempting for co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold, though, who eventually let the £50million rated Payet leave for just half that price in January.
