Millwall supporters have hit out on Twitter at Newcastle United loanee Ivan Toney, accusing him of play acting.

Toney was in action for Scunthorpe United against Millwall last night in the League One play-off semi-final at The Den.

Toney had a tough task, asked to lead the line alone away from home and was not provided with a lot of quality service.

The game finished 0-0, leaving Scunthorpe favourites to qualify with home advantage for the second leg.

Toney, on loan from recently promoted Championship side Newcastle United, did what he could yet was unable to get on target.

His performance rattled Millwall supporters who grew frustrated with what they saw as him throwing himself to the floor in order to try and win free-kicks.

Toney, 21, won promotion with Barnsley last season from League One while on loan and is bidding to do the same once again.

Here is a look at how Lions supporters reacted on Twitter to Toney's performance against them...
