West Ham United will soon be turning their attentions to the summer transfer window and may have just been given a clear path to a prime target.
Joe Hart is on a season-long loan at Torino
Guardiola recently confirmed Hart has no future at the club and that led to speculation that Liverpool would launch a bid for the on loan Torino stopper with Simon Mignolet and Lorius Karius courting criticism from fans and pundits alike.
With Liverpool in the running for a Champions League place, it was felt that Hart would opt for Anfield over the Olympic Stadium.
"You ask about goalkeepers but even though you don't say the name, is it about Joe Hart?" said Klopp when asked whether he was considering strengthening in the goalkeeping department by Sky Sports.
Hart in action
"We don't usually talk about these sort of things but in this particular case I think we can. He is a fantastic goalkeeper, the goalkeeper of the English national team, the highest quality, but we have highest-quality goalkeepers.
"It is not for us in this moment and hopefully not for us in the future - not because of Joe but we already have two strong goalkeepers.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp
"The situation with our goalkeepers is really good. I understand the question but I cannot give the answer probably a few people want."
Hart started the season in Serie A superbly but his form has dipped of late and he dropped a clanger in the recent draw with Crotone.
West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic
The goalkeeping situation at West Ham will need addressing in the summer with Adrian out of contract and Darren Randolph having proved he is not up to the job as the club's number one.
Bilic will probably look to keep one of his current pair to play understudy to Hart should co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold finally make good on their pledge to spend big on marquee signings.
