Celtic and Rangers will resume their rivalry this weekend. The Bhoys and the Gers will face each other at Hampden Park in Glasgow in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup on Sunday afternoon.

The Old Firm derby is one of the biggest in the world, and Sunday afternoon’s match is going to be massive.

Celtic are yet to suffer a defeat in domestic competitions in Scotland this season, while Rangers will certainly love to win a major trophy in their first season back in the Scottish top flight.

Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic side will head into the match as favourites. The Hoops have the best and strongest squad in Scotland, and the players will be determined to step up their game even further against Rangers.

Rangers, though, cannot be taken lightly. Under new manager Pedro Caixinha, the Gers have looked better and more organised. There is a certain air of optimism around Ibrox at the moment.

Well-known Celtic fan and former Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United forward Alan Brazil, though, does not fancy Rangers to win this weekend.

Former Rangers midfielder Ray Wilkins has also backed Celtic to win the semi-final tie on Sunday.

“I thought Rangers played really well at Parkhead, but you will see the real Celtic at the weekend,” said Brazil on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Friday morning (broadcast from 6am, April 21, 2017).

“I will go with that,” said Wilkins on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Friday morning (broadcast from 6am, April 21, 2017). “It breaks my heart to say it, but I will go with that.”
