Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur will face each other in the FA Cup this weekend. The two Premier League sides will lock horns with each other at the Wembley Stadium in London in the semi-finals of the major cup competition on Saturday evening.

It promises to be a hugely competitive and entertaining match. Chelsea and Tottenham are competing for the league title, with the Blues just four points clear of second-placed Spurs at the top of the standings.

Both Chelsea and Tottenham will be determined to win the tie. The FA Cup may not as big as the Premier League or the Champions League, but it is still a major and very prestigious competition.

Chelsea have a better team than Tottenham and will head into the tie as favourites, but Mauricio Pochettino’s side are in better form and will be full of confidence.

Spurs will know that winning against Chelsea is going to give them a psychological edge ahead of the title run-in.

Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has given his prediction of the match.

“Chelsea are the 15/8 favourites with BetVictor for the FA Cup and are, in my opinion, worthy favourites with the Blues 8/11 favourites to make next month’s final, with the winner likely to come from this semi-final,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.

“The cup-tie could go either way with Spurs arriving in sensational form in the top-flight, but with a terrible record at this stage of the competition having lost their last 6 successive FA Cup semi-finals.

"I expect to see fireworks at Wembley on Saturday, and not necessarily good ones, with no love lost between both sides and the 3/1 for someone to be issued with their marching orders is too big with BetVictor.”
