Tottenham Hotspur are fighting for the Premier League title with Chelsea and are also in the FA Cup semi-finals.

Tottenham Hotspur have one of the best and most talented squad in the Premier League and have established themselves as the only realistic challengers to Chelsea for the title.

Spurs are only four points behind their London rivals Chelsea in second place and look set to give the Blues a run for their money.

The North London outfit are also in the running for the FA Cup. Tottenham will take on Chelsea at the Wembley Stadium in London in the semi-finals of the competition on Saturday evening.

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher recently told Sky Sports that the current Tottenham team is too good not to win trophies.

Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has responded to that claim from former Liverpool defender Carragher.

“You can play the best football all season and in the end you won't be rewarded,” Lloris told ESPN FC when pointed out that Jamie Carragher is among those to state that Tottenham are too good not to win a trophy this season. “The most important thing is to win games. There's no unique way to play football.

“For us, the most important thing is belief - to believe in our manager, in our staff, in ourselves. We'll try to give the possibility to dream to our fans and make them proud of us.”

Tottenham do have a team that can win silverware, and perhaps they will claim not only but two major trophies this season.

The White Hart Lane faithful would surely love it if Spurs win the Premier League and the FA Cup this season.

Even if Spurs fail to win anything this campaign, it should be considered a successful season if they end up in the top four and qualify for the Champions League.
