Brendan Rodgers' Celtic side are set to take on Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers on Sunday.
Brendan Rodgers’ comments leave no doubt that Scott Brown will start for Celtic against Glasgow Rangers this weekend.
Brown was sent off during Celtic’s last match against Ross County in controversial fashion.
But Celtic have appealed the decision, which means that their captain is available to play.
And Rodgers’ comments suggest that Brown will be named in his starting line-up, despite the initial doubts over whether he would be available.

Celtic head into their game against Rangers, still unbeaten in domestic competition this season.
The Bhoys have been the dominant force in Scottish football this term, but they are yet to face Rangers since Pedro Caixinha took the reins at Ibrox.
In the four Old-Firm derbies to have taken place so far this season, Celtic have won three and the most recent contest between the two sides finished as a draw.
If Celtic are able to get past Rangers at the weekend, they will move a step closer to winning the treble this season.
