Rangers' Kenny Miller celebrates scoring
Serge Atakayi has told Rangers' official youth development Twitter account that the current Gers player he looks up to the most is Kenny Miller.
Atakayi is one of the prospects hoping to make the grade at Ibrox, having joined the Light Blues in 2016. And judging by the fact that he was handed a three-year deal by the Scottish Premiership side (via club's official website), it would appear that the Gers certainly have high hopes for the 18-year-old.
And judging by the player he suggested was the one he looks up to the most, it seems that he is giving himself the best chance of going on the right track to realising his full potential at some stage in the future.

While Atakayi is yet to make his first-team debut, he will have surely gained plenty of encouragement from the early stages of Pedro Caixinha's tenure, with both Myles Beerman and David Bates earning their debuts and establishing themselves as first-team squad members with clean sheets coming in each of their three appearances each this term.
But the Finland youth international's response to the question arguably also sends out an important message to the Gers hierarchy ahead of the summer.
Miller is out of contract this summer (via transfermarkt), and yet, is not only proving to be an integral player on the pitch for Rangers - he is their top goalscorer in the top flight with nine strikes to his name - but he is also making a major impression on the brightest prospects coming through, so letting him leave at the end of the campaign will certainly be a gamble.
