Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea go head-to-head this weekend.
Tottenham Hotspur’s players have been put through their paces ahead of the FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea this weekend.
The two sides are currently scrapping it out at the top of the Premier League, but for one weekend at least their attention will turn back to the famous old cup competition.
Chelsea’s league defeat to Manchester United last time out has set the cat among the pigeons and Tottenham will know that if they can get the better of Antonio Conte’s men in the FA Cup, it could give them an advantage in the final stages of the title race, too.
Among the Tottenham players in action this week was 20-year-old right-back Kyle Walker-Peters.
The youngster is highly rated at White Hart Lane but he is yet to make his first-team debut and he looks like having to wait until next season at the earliest to make the breakthrough.
That said he was one of the few Tottenham youngsters photographed training prior to the Chelsea match so he could yet find himself on the bench for the third time this season given his presence in the match day squad for the FA Cup matches against Aston Villa and Wycombe Wanderers.
