A host of Premier League clubs are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid superstar James Rodriguez in the summer.

The Colombian who cost the Spanish giants £60m in the summer of 2014 (via Daily Star) has struggled for regular games under Zinedine Zidane, and his future has come under intense speculation in recent months.

Liverpool and Chelsea have also been linked with a move for Rodriguez at various points this season, but it seems Manchester United could be his next destination.

According to reports from Spanish publication Diario Gol, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez wants to sell the ex-Monaco midfielder to Manchester United.

The central idea behind the move is to secure a potential swap deal, with United’s goalkeeper David De Gea moving the other way.

The Schalke left-back was reported to have agreed to join Arsenal last week, but his father has denied that report.

According to Sky reports, an agreement has been reached between Arsenal and the player, who is also attracting interest from Serie A giants, AC Milan.

When quizzed about his son’s next move, Kolasinac senior told Bosnian TV station N1 Sarajevo (h/t SkySports.com): "Next week we will decide everything.”

The defender has only three months remaining on his current deal and is yet to sign a new contract extension with the German side.
