Not so long ago Chelsea were 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League table. Now the gap between the Blues and London rivals Tottenham Hotspur is only four.
The Blues have suffered two defeats in the league this month. Antonio Conte’s side went down 2-1 to Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge at the start of the month, and on Sunday afternoon they lost 2-0 to Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Tottenham have continued to maintain the pressure on Chelsea and are now just four points behind them. The Premier League title race is back on.
Former Queens Park Rangers and Manchester City forward Rodney Marsh, though, believes that the title race was over weeks ago.
>Loads saying title race is ON!!! Wrong, title race has been over for weeks!— Rodney Marsh (@RodneyMarsh10) April 16, 2017
Despite the defeat to United on Sunday afternoon, Chelsea are still the favourites for the Premier League title. However, Tottenham will certainly fancy their chances of catching the Blues.
Chelsea and Tottenham will actually face each other next weekend - in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
