Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are battling it out for the top four spots.

Steven Gerrard has told BT Sport, during their coverage of Manchester City’s match against Chelsea, that he believes Manchester United and Arsenal will miss out on the top four.

At the moment, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, City and Liverpool occupy the spots in the top four.

And Gerrard doesn’t believe that order will change between now and the end of the season.

“I think Manchester United and Arsenal will miss out, that’s my prediction,” the Liverpool legend said, when asked to predict which teams would make it into the Champions League.

Chelsea’s place in the top four is surely secure, with Antonio Conte’s side currently leading the way in the Premier League.

Tottenham also took a back step closer to booking their spot in next season’s Champions League, after Mauricio Pochettino’s side scored three late goals to beat Swansea City last night.

Liverpool’s and City’s places in the top four look less secure, but United and Arsenal have struggled to close the gap in recent times.

The Gunners won yesterday, but they have been in poor form recently, while United have drawn too many matches to put much pressure on the teams above them.
