John Marquis of Doncaster Rovers celebrates with team mates after scoring their third goal
Marquis has enjoyed a stunning season for Doncaster since joining the club last summer from Millwall.
The 24-year-old helped Northampton Town win the League Two title last season, scoring six goals in 15 league appearances on loan and his goals for Doncaster this season have put them on the brink of winning promotion back to League One.
The talented striker took his tally for the season to 26 goals with his first hat-trick in the Football League in the 5-1 victory over Grimsby Town.

Marquis' goalscoring exploits have been instrumental in helping Doncaster to the top of the League Two table and they need just three more points from their final six games to be certain of a top-three finish and promotion.
Marquis is currently the joint top scorer in English football alongside Sheffield United’s Billy Sharp and his performances have brought him to the attention of several clubs higher up the football pyramid.
Championship sides Norwich City, Blackburn Rovers, Ipswich Town, Barnsley and Bristol City are all weighing up moves for Marquis, while League One promotion hopefuls Sheffield United are keen to pair him with Sharp next season as they prepare for life back in the Championship.
Doncaster would be reluctant to lose their prize asset as they look to plan ahead for next season in League One, but they are bracing themselves for interest in Marquis when the transfer window opens this summer.
