Tottenham Hotspur’s talented young striker Shayon Harrison is currently out on loan at Yeovil Town.

The 19-year-old has played 12 games for Yeovil since making the move in January, scoring one goal.

He will be looking to perform with the Glovers and follow in the footsteps of three previous Tottenham loanees at Huish Park.

Andros Townsend, Ryan Mason and Steven Caulker have all had loan spells at Yeovil in their careers.

Townsend played 10 games for Yeovil in 2008-09, scoring once, in what was his first loan away from Spurs. Mason spent the majority of the 2009-10 season on loan at Yeovil, along with team-mate Caulker.

All three went on to play for the Spurs first-team and all three have also played international football for England.

Those footsteps will be the ones that Harrison will want to follow in. However, that may not mean a long-term future for the striker at Spurs, as the aforementioned trio never made a long-term impact at White Hart Lane.

Harrison will be hoping to break that pattern, whilst also thriving in the Tottenham Hotspur first-team for the long-term.
