Newcastle and Rangers fans have been reacting on Twitter after Ivan Toney and Matt Crooks played starring roles in Scunthorpe United's dramatic win over Bradford City on Sunday.

The Iron consolidated their position inside the League One play-off places as they claimed an impressive win over the Bantams at Glanford Park, with the two loanees scoring the three goals.

It was Toney - who joined on loan from Newcastle in January - who put Scunthorpe 1-0 up with a smart finish from a fairly acute angle inside the first three minutes.

Bradford - managed by former Gers man Stuart McCall - were not behind, or level in fact, for long as Kevin Toner and Alex Jones put the fellow play-off chasers 2-1 ahead after just 16 minutes.

Toney's second goal was incredibly impressive as he made a smart run to latch onto a long ball, before, with his back to goal, hooking the ball past the goalkeeper shortly after the break.

The game remained level until the 82nd minute when Rangers loanee Crooks met a corner and found the net to hand Scunthorpe an important three points in the race for promotion.

Following the game, supporters of both the Magpies and the Gers took to social media to praise the two goalscorers. Toney's second goal - the third of his loan spell - received particular praise from Newcastle fans, while some Light Blues supporters questioned the decision to send Crooks away from Ibrox following his second winning goal in as many games.

However, others were still not convinced about the utility man.

Here is the best of the reaction...
