Tottenham's three most disappointing players so far this season; will they eventually come good?

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino and Millwall manager Neil Harris

Tottenham Hotspur fans will not be impressed with the performances of three of their four summer signings.

Tottenham's Vincent Janssen

Tottenham Hotspur fans have plenty of reasons to be positive as we head into yet another international beak, but that does not mean every Spurs player has performed well.

Some of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad will need to take a long hard look at themselves in the weeks ahead, in the hope that they can turn things around either in what remains of this season or in time for the next campaign.

Here we take a look at Tottenham’s three most disappointing players this season:

Vincent Janssen

Tottenham needed a new striker last summer to ease the pressure on Harry Kane and Pochettino ultimately opted for Vincent Janssen.

The fact that the Netherlands international had scored for fun in his homeland last season – with 32 goals in all competitions and 27 in just 34 league games – a move for the 22-year-old seemed a no-brainer, but as yet things have not gone according to plan.

Georges-Kevin N’Koudou

Considering how long Tottenham fans waited for Georges-Kevin N’Koudou to be official unveiled as a Spurs player, with negotiations dragging on and on, you would think they had signed a world-beater.

Unfortunately, as yet the French winger has shown only sporadic bursts of his ability.

In time he could come good at White Hart Lane, however this season has been all about bedding in and his cameos have highlighted his weakness as much as his undoubted talent.

Tottenham's Moussa Sissoko on the substitute bench before the game

Moussa Sissoko

The biggest disappointment of the lot considering how much Tottenham agreed to pay for him, Moussa Sissoko has been woeful thus far.

The former Newcastle United man was fighting a losing battle from the start given his price tag and Tottenham fans bemusement at the deal, but perhaps with a full pre-season under his belt he will come good in 2018.
