Everton manager Ronald Koeman
Lukaku seems to be on his way out of Goodison Park in the near future, with The Sun reporting that contract talks with the Toffees hierarchy had broken down.
But Ronald Koeman appears to be keen to ensure that he is not struggling for options up front next season, with The Sun suggesting that Bakambu and Willian Jose will be on their radar should the Belgian depart.
Of the pair, Bakambu has enjoyed the quieter season with just four goals coming in 16 top flight appearances for the Yellow Submarine this term, but he showed last year when he scored 12 times that he does know where the back of the net is. And it must be noted that many of his appearances this season have been as a substitute, while he can also be deployed on the wing.
Real Sociedad's Willian Jose
Meanwhile, Willian Jose has been excellent during his first year with Sociedad, scoring nine times while also contributing three assists.
The Sun adds that the pair are expected to be on the move this summer, but their respective clubs will look for fees of at least £25 million before they give a switch the green light.
But if Koeman is confident that either, or potentially both, can fill the void that Lukaku may leave behind if he moves on, then those prices will surely be worth paying.
