Glasgow Rangers striker Joe Dodoo could be set to become the biggest winner of Pedro Caixinha’s appointment at Ibrox.
Dodoo struggled for appearances at Rangers under Mark Warburton, with the striker not used at all in 2017.
However, Caixinha stated that he held a meeting with Dodoo soon after taking charge at Rangers, and he gave the youngster a chance to impress in his first match at the helm.
Dodoo came on as a late substitute for Rangers, as they beat Hamilton 4-0 at the weekend.
The former Leicester City man caught the eye on his brief cameo role, and Rangers fans are hoping that it can be the start of a turnaround for the 21-year-old.
@36Dodoo keep training hard! You can be a big player for us in season to come!— Graeme (@Cold_Fury1872) March 18, 2017
@36Dodoo hopefully see you back in more often, keep the hard work up mate— Justin Harrower (@harrower_justin) March 18, 2017
Dodoo has made 17 appearances at Rangers, during his first season with the Ibrox side.
The rapid forward has managed to hit the back of the net four times for the Light Blues since signing last summer.
Dodoo could now feature in Rangers’ next match, which comes against Motherwell in two weekends’ time.
