Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon is being targeted by Tottenham, according to reports
Fulham's game with Wolves may have been notable for the upset that saw Paul Lambert's men dent the Cottagers' play-off hopes, but it may perhaps have also provided fans of Tottenham and Arsenal a glimpse of a future North London derby battle if both teams manage to land their respective targets in the future.
Meanwhile, Tottenham were linked with Fulham's 16-year-old starlet Ryan Sessegnon by the Daily Mail in February, and were supposedly confident about pulling off a deal for the left-back at that stage.
So with Costa playing as one of the three just off Wolves striker Andi Weimann at Craven Cottage, he got the opportunity to test himself against Spurs target Sessegnon for the first time with the defender not featuring in the enthralling 4-4 draw the two teams played out earlier in the season.

And if the two North London sides had representatives in attendance for Saturday's clash, it is likely that it would have been the Gunners scout who would have come away happier, with Costa bagging two assists as Wolves turned the table on its head by claiming a 3-1 win.
Of course, it remains to be seen if either player ends up at Tottenham or Arsenal in the future, but with both men looking extremely impressive at various stages throughout the campaign, it may not be out of the question to suggest that the two players' battle on the right wing will go down as the first of many.
