Borussia Dortmund's Ousmane Dembele in action with Benfica's Andreas Samaris
According to The Mirror, Liverpool are again interested in signing Borussia Dortmund winger Ousmane Dembele this summer, having missed out on him last summer.
If Jurgen Klopp guides his side to a top four finish, he will want to land some considerable reinforcements during the January transfer window – and a familiar target is again being linked with the club.
The Mirror report that Liverpool boss Klopp is again interested in signing Borussia Dortmund winger Ousmane Dembele, with the German keen to raid his former club.
Dortmund swooped to land Dembele from Rennes in his native France last summer, having hit 12 goals and five assists in 26 appearances, and he has shown why he is so highly rated this season.
The French wide man, 19, has racked up 14 assists and seven goals in all competitions this season, establishing himself as one of the world's top teenage talents whilst sparking interest from Barcelona.

Liverpool, seeking other options out wide given their over-reliance on Sadio Mane, could now turn to Dembele again having missed out on a deal to sign him last summer.
Dembele told Four Four Two earlier this month that he met Klopp in Paris last summer, but told him that he had already decided to join Dortmund, and was therefore snubbing a move to Liverpool.
It's hard to see Dembele's position changing after one – very successful – year in Germany, and with Dortmund under little pressure to sell, Klopp may struggle to lure his long-term target away from his former club.
