Celtic fans react to Eboue Kouassi's performance against Dundee

The Ivorian made his league debut for Celtic this weekend but will look back on it with disappointment.

When Celtic fans first got a glimpse of recent addition Eboue Kouassi in a Bhoys shirt, they were excited by what they saw.

With a bone-crunching tackle, the 19-year-old showed what he was all about against St Mirren, and that 13-minute cameo suggested Brendan Rodgers had uncovered another gem.

Kouassi got another chance to impress from the bench on Sunday, this time against Dundee, but unfortunately he was unable to dominate proceedings as he would have hoped, looking out of sorts and in desperate need of time and patience.

There is no doubt Celtic have a real talent on their hands, but he had an off day against Dundee during his 32 minutes on the pitch.

He proved his worth at former club Krasnodar and will hope to have rediscovered his edge when Celtic return to domestic matters after the latest international break.
