Brought to Crystal Palace by Tony Pulis, could Joe Ledley follow his old boss to West Bromwich Albion this summer?

According to the Daily Mail, West Bromwich Albion are considering a move for Blackburn Rovers midfielder Jason Lowe this summer.

Lowe, a former England Under-21 international, is out of contract at Ewood Park this summer, so wouldn't cost the Baggies a penny.

The 25-year-old, though, is not the only central midfield player going free at the end of the current campaign, and one could be of particular interest to Pulis.

Courted by the Welshman since 2008 according to some reports, Joe Ledley was finally united with Pulis at Crystal Palace in 2014, becoming one of his first Eagles signings.

Ledley, however, has struggled for regular game time at Selhurst Park this season, failing to feature in Sam Allardyce's last three squads (before Saturday) - including last week's defeat at the Hawthorns.

It is somewhat unlikely, therefore, that the 30-year-old will be staying on in South London and it would be little surprise were Pulis to summon him to West Brom.

With close to 200 top flight appearances in England and Scotland, not to mention a sprinkling of Champions League outings for Celtic and 71 caps for Wales, the Baggies could perhaps do a lot worse.
