Grant has caught the eye at Notts County since joining the club on loan in January, scoring four goals in his last seven games to help them climb out of the relegation zone in League Two, and his performances have not gone unnoticed elsewhere.
Grant scored the winning goal in the shock 1-0 victory at promotion-chasing Plymouth Argyle last month and he netted a stunning long-range strike in last weekend's win over fellow strugglers Hartlepool.
Notts County have already suggested they would love to turn Grant's loan move into a permanent arrangement, but they will face fierce competition for the midfielder's signature.
Grant is out of contract at the City Ground at the end of the season and he has yet to agree a new deal alerting clubs to his possible availability this summer.
The 22-year-old made just six appearances for Forest prior to his loan move to County and it is unclear if he has a long-term future at Forest.
The likes of Wigan Athletic, Fleetwood Town and Northampton Town are all understood to be keeping tabs on Grant and could move for the goal-scoring midfielder at the end of the season.
