Huddersfield fans are not happy with punishments handed out to Leeds boss compared to David Wagner.
Huddersfield Town Manager David Wagner celebrates with the players
David Wagner’s wild celebrations at the end of the derby against Leeds did not go down well with opposition boss Garry Monk earlier this month.
Monk stepped into Wagner’s path on his way back to his bench, a move which led to players from both sides having to be restrained from one another as they backed their managers up.
The FA took a dim view of the scenes, and charged both Monk and Wagner in relation to the incident.
This was due to the fact Wagner faced two charges, one for stepping outside his technical area and going onto the pitch, and a second for improper conduct.
Monk meanwhile only faced an improper conduct charge.
Despite this, the over riding feeling among Terriers fans is that Monk got off lightly, having been seen to have started the incident by confronting Wagner.
