The Leeds United-linked right-back duo are both 21 and under.

Even if the unthinkable occurs and Leeds United are not promoted to the Premier League this season, it seems they are putting a plan in place to ensure their most impressive Championship campaign in a decade is not merely a one-off.
HITC sources claim that The Whites are eying up Brighton’s highly-rated right-back Rob Hunt who has also caught the eye of Bournemouth on the back of an impressive temporary spell with League One strugglers Oldham Athletic.
The Latics have climbed out of the relegation zone thanks to a four-game unbeaten run and Hunt’s performances have offered hope of an unexpected escape.
And, although the 21-year-old only has one Championship appearence to his name, September’s clash with Burton, it seems that he fits into Leeds’ long-term plans.
After all, he is far from the first youngster to be linked with Elland Road recently.

Swedish international Linus Wahlqvist is a year younger than Hunt but the fellow right-back has also been heavily tipped to make the move to Yorkshire, with Fotboll Direkt claiming that Garry Monk’s side were willing to pay £900,000 for his signature.
Furthermore, Leeds have also been linked with the likes of Liverpool youngster Ryan Kent, the 20-year-old enjoying an excellent season at Barnsley, and West Ham United striker Ashley Fletcher in recent weeks.

And that’s without mentioning the fact that Leeds signed 10 players under the age of 26 since the start of last summer. It seems the club are attempting to build a side with potential and longevity to ensure that they can challenge for future campaigns.
It’s a far cry from the short-termism of recent seasons at least.
