West Ham United teenager Marcus Browne has expressed his frustration after picking up an injury.

Browne is on loan at Wigan Athletic, and has had to wait to make an impact for the Latics.

The 19-year-old attacker has played only 14 minutes of football so far for the Championship relegation battlers, and admits he is demoralised by his injury setback, even though he acknowledges it is only minor.

Injury kept him out of Wigan's defeat last night's 2-1 to Queens Park Rangers, and is doubtful to be available for the clash with Nottingham Forest this weekend.

Browne has previously featured for West Ham's first team in cup competition, and had scored three goals and three assists for the club's under-23 team this season.

This was his big chance out on loan to impress and stake a claim to fight for a place in West Ham's first team next season, so it is understandable he is frustrated to be missing time.

The Latics have 13 games remaining this season as they did to stave off relegation.
