The Slovenian will not be joining Leeds United anytime soon.

Leeds United recently had three players featuring with the under-23s on a trial period. The players in question were Aaron Splaine, Jack Boyle and Slovenian Mitja Krizan.
The latter was on trial at the club from Slovenian side NK Celje and the striker would have been looking to score goals in order to catch the eye on his trial period.
But yesterday he was not included in the club’s squad to face off against Barnsley in an under-23 clash, prompting many to hypothesise that his trial period may have come to an end.
That would certainly appear to be the case. According to a report from Slovenian website Novice Najdi the forward has been sent out on loan elsewhere.
They report he, along with three other Celje players, were sent out on loan to Slovenian second-tier side NK Drava Ptuj last week.

The move is becoming increasingly common for Celje players and Krizan will be hoping to make the most of the spell.
It certainly appears the 19-year-old has not yet done enough to earn himself a move to Thorp Arch. Instead of the Championship, the second-tier of Slovenian football awaits.
