Aberdeen's Peter Pawlett (L) in action with Celtic's Scott Brown
Pawlett is out of contract at Pittodrie this summer and has yet to agree a new deal with the Scottish Premiership side.
News of Pawlett's contract situation has alerted Championship duo Queens Park Rangers and Burton and League One promotion hopefuls Bolton who could all sign the former Scotland under-21 international on a pre-contract.

Pawlett could only have impressed his suitors in the last couple of games, scoring in the 7-2 rout of Motherwell last week before coming off the bench to grab the winner in the 2-1 victory over Kilmarnock on Sunday.
The 26-year-old has been forced to play a back-up role for Derek McInnes's side so far this season, with the midfielder starting just five games in the Scottish Premiership with his seven other appearances coming as a substitute.
Pawlett has come through the ranks at Aberdeen and he has made over 200 appearances for the Dons since making his first-team debut in 2009.
Aberdeen would be loathe to lose Pawlett, but the player could be tempted to move on this summer in search of regular first-team football and a new challenge.
