Sky Sports pundit David Prutton predicted the outcome of Ipswich Town vs Leeds United, when writing his regular prediction column for Sky Sports, and explained why it may prove to be a tricky game for Garry Monk's men.

The visitors head to Portman Road currently sitting comfortably inside the play-off spots in fifth position, whilst Mick McCarthy's side sit 17 points and eight places below them in 13th spot.

The West Yorkshire side have won three out of their last five league games, whilst the Tractor Boys have won just once in their last six league outings.

But Prutton foresees a difficult afternoon for Leeds, and highlighted how Ipswich's current solidarity could lead to a surprise result tomorrow, when writing his regular column for Sky Sports:

"Ipswich are a funny one, you kind of get the general feeling they will finish about mid-table where they are at the moment. Leeds needed to beat Bristol City after a couple of surprising results but Ipswich do look pretty solid. They are unbeaten in three and drew against Brighton."

Prediction: Ipswich Town 1-1 Leeds United

A win for Leeds could take them to fourth in the table, whilst Ipswich could jump inside the top half of the table with all three points.

The game, however, is far more impotent to Monk's side than it is to McCarthy's men, with Leeds chasing promotion and Ipswich safe from relegation, but probably too far away to challenge for the top six.
