Goalkeeper Scott Bain looks to be on his way out of Dundee this summer, with Celtic one of several admirers according to the Daily Record.

Bain has 18 months left on his Dens Park deal, but is said to have turned down the Dark Blues' offer of an extension.

And a source has allegedly told the Daily Record Dundee will have little choice but to let him leave in the summer.

It is claimed that Bain, who has twice been drafted into Gordon Strachan's Scotland squad, will have no shortage of suitors, with Celtic and MK Dons both named in the report.

Celtic look set to hand a new deal to Craig Gordon after Chelsea failed with a move for the Scotland number one last month.

However, with Gordon not getting any younger, and the Blues yet to secure an alternative, it is perhaps wise for the Bhoys to consider alternative options.

Bain, 25, began his career at Aberdeen, eventually moving to Dundee via Alloa Athletic in 2014.

Would Bain be a good signing for Celtic?
