Charlie Nicholas calls for Tottenham's Eric Dier to be dropped.

Charlie Nicholas has criticised Tottenham ace Eric Dier's performance against Liverpool and called for him to switch positions.
Speaking to SkySports, Nicholas urged head coach Mauricio Pochettino to replace Dier with Kevin Wimmer for this week's Europa League clash away to Belgian side Gent.
Dier lined up in central defence against Liverpool and Spurs were undone, losing 2-0 at Anfield. Nicholas wants to see him back in midfield.
Nicholas said: "I would imagine he (Pochettino) will make a point about how unhappy he is, with Eric Dier in particular extremely poor at centre-back once again against Liverpool.
"I know Victor Wanyama is the main holding midfielder but he might want to play them as a pair for a bit more protection and bring Kevin Wimmer in at centre-back until Jan Vertonghen returns."
Vertonghen came back to training this week but the match against Gent is too early for the Belgian to feature.

It was not the first time that Spurs have been undone with Dier at centre-back, with this a theme of the club's unsuccessful Europa League games.
Pochettino is perhaps trying a bit too hard to accommodate him, with Wanyama taking his spot in midfield. Wimmer deputised well when required last season, but appears to have lost some of his manager's trust.
Nicholas also added that he has a bold prediction for the result, that Vincent Janssen will actually score, in a 1-1 draw for Spurs. He did not specify whether it will be his first goal from open play or another penalty.
