Former Rangers manager Mark Warburton
Mark Warburton's exit from Rangers occurred last Friday but questions are still ongoing about the circumstances.
The League Manager's Association issued a statement yesterday re-iterating Mark Warburton's stance that neither he or his staff resigned, contrary to Rangers' public claims.
The statement called for answers over his exit, but Rangers are yet to respond.
Former Premier League chairman Simon Jordan, formerly of Crystal Palace, stuck up for the Gers on Twitter, explaining that he did not expect the Gers to address the statement.
Jordan believes the LMA have no teeth, and Warburton resultantly is fighting a losing battle.
I see #rangersfc have not answered the LMA questions about Warburton, Here's perhaps why ,LMA have no standing and rangers don't have to— Simon Jordan (@Sjopinion10) February 15, 2017
Rangers have not yet made an announcement over Warburton's replacement, with under-20 manager Graeme Murty in temporary charge.
Warburton led Rangers to win promotion in his debut season at Ibrox, but this season was a colossal disappointment with the club 27 points behind rivals and leaders Celtic heading into mid-February.
