Tottenham are currently in second place in the Premier League table, but they have faced criticism recently, after they lost 2-0 to Liverpool.
Spurs are now 10 points behind league leaders Chelsea, with their title challenge surely over.
But Redknapp feels that Tottenham will beat off competition from the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City to qualify for the Champions League.
"I don’t think they will win the title now – although for me they are certain to finish in the top four,” he said.
The battle for the top four is hotting up, with Tottenham locked in competition with four other teams for the spots between second and fourth.
Tottenham do have another route into Europe though, as they are in the Europa League.
And Redknapp claims that Pochettino’s side have a chance of lifting silverware this season, as long as they put out their strongest line-up in the Europa League.
“I did warn that playing home games there in Europe would be a massive disadvantage to them,” Redknapp said.
“It’s such a different atmosphere at White Hart Lane, because the crowd’s on top of you and the noise is tremendous. When you’re at Wembley, the game is slower, there are big, open spaces and it’s just not the same.
“But if Mauricio Pochettino picks his best team, they have got a real chance in the Europa League. If they really want to to win it, Spurs have got the players to do it. They would be my favourites.”
Tottenham are set to take on Gent in the first match of their Europa League campaign this evening.
