Former Nottingham Forest Manager Billy Davies
Former Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies has been backed for the vacant Glasgow Rangers job by another of his former players.
French midfielder Guy Moussi commented on Twitter that he believes Davies is the perfect fit for the Gers.
Davies has been out of work since 2014 when his second spell as Nottingham Forest boss came to an end.
SkySports reported earlier this week that Davies was among the frontrunners with the bookies for the post.
Moussi is not the only of Davies' former players to give him his backing, with Kris Boyd telling The BBC he feels Davies would solve problems at Rangers, while Chris Gunter told The Express he also feels the manager would be a success.
The Gers let Mark Warburton go last week and are looking for a permanent replacement, although may settle for now on an interim appointment until the end of the season.
Davies has a reputation as a confrontational manager but the number of ex-players coming out to back him suggests he could be just the type of individual required to galvanise the Rangers squad.
