Nottingham Forest's financial results suggest further player sales (Nottingham Post), but who are their most valuable assets?

Here's our top five:

Zach Clough

Bolton Wanderers' Zach Clough scores their second goal from the penalty spot

The striker only arrived at the City Ground from Bolton Wanderers on deadline day, in a reported £2 million deal. Should he pick up where he left off in the Championship, his value will only increase over the next few months and into the rest of his four-and-a-half-year deal.

Likely to fetch right now? £3 million

Ben Osborn

The midfielder was a reported target for Newcastle United last month, with a mooted price tag of circa £4 million. However, with a contract until 2020 at the City Ground, his value shalln't be declining fast, leaving Forest in a strong negotiating position.

Likely to fetch right now? £4 million

Ben Brereton

Liverpool are said to have offered £2.5 million before the teenage striker had even made his Forest debut, but with two goals in four games so far, not to mention a recently-signed albeit undisclosed new deal, he's probably worth more than that already. It would be little surprise to see Brereton sold sooner rather than later, before his price tag skyrockets even further.

Likely to fetch right now? £5 million

Matty Cash

The teenager has reportedly attracted interest from Chelsea and RB Leipzig in his breakthrough campaign, with the pair tipped to make £6 million moves in January. With two years left on his contract after this season, Forest are in no rush to sell - although they'd get more for him this summer than they would next.

Likely to fetch right now? £6 million

Britt Assombalonga

Forest's top scorer and with the longest deal of any Reds player other than Zach Clough, Assombalonga is probably worth the most of any player currently at the club. His goalscoring record is sure to appeal to others, although his fitness issues may act as a deterrent.

Likely to fetch right now? £8 million

If you had to sell one of these Nottingham Forest players tomorrow, who would it be?
