Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has taken to social networking site Twitter to send a message to Paris Saint-Germain star Blaise Matuidi.
Sissoko was impressed with the performance of PSG midfielder Matuidi during the Champions League game against Barcelona on Tuesday evening.
The 29-year-old started the last-16 first-leg tie at Parc des Princes and played for the entire 90 minutes.
Ligue 1 giants PSG hammered Spanish powerhouse Barcelona 4-0, with Matuidi playing a key role.
Sissoko, who joined Tottenham from Newcastle United in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £30 million, was following the match.
The former Toulouse midfielder was impressed with the performance of his France international teammate Matuidi and wrote on Twitter: “Bravo @MATUIDIBlaise for your enormous performance! #PSGBAR.”
Sissoko has featured in 16 Premier League matches for Tottenham so far this season, creating 16 chances in the process.
Spurs are third in the league table at the moment with 50 points from 25 matches, 10 points behind leaders and London rivals Chelsea.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will take on KAA Gent away from home in the first leg of the Europa League round of 32 tie on Thursday evening.
