Tottenham's Dele Alli

Dele Alli is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and is a key player in the current Tottenham Hotspur squad.

Alli is playing well for Tottenham at the moment and will be hugely important in their quest to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.

The 20-year-old’s progress at Spurs has been massive, and in the coming years, he could develop into a genuinely world-class midfielder.

Manchester City have signed some brilliant players over the years, such as Sergio Aguero and David Silva, and they have been linked with Alli.

According to a recent report in The Express, City are set to make a bid for the England international midfielder in the summer transfer window.

The youngster, though, does not appear to be taking any notice of the speculation. Alli is continuing to play well for Tottenham, and his teammate Eric Der has speculated that the former Milton Keynes Dons man is committed to the White Hart Lane outfit.

"Yeah I think so, he's never mentioned to me once that it isn’t," Dier, who can operate as a defender or as a midfielder, told Sky Sports regarding Alli’s intention to stay at Tottenham for the foreseeable future."I think he's fully motivated to do well with Spurs.”

Tottenham are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 50 points from 25 matches, 10 points behind leaders and London rivals Chelsea.
