Vincent Janssen has struggling to score for Tottenham Hotspur since joining from AZ Alkmaar, but has no such problem when playing FIFA.

Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli told EASPORTS.com that Janssen surprised the rest of the squad by teaching them a lesson at the game.

He said: “Vincent Janssen surprised everyone. We were all playing and he asked for a go and then he just starting beating everyone 3-0!”

Janssen has scored just four goals for Tottenham since signing, all from the penalty spot, failing to live up to the high hopes which the club had for him when he signed.

He is at least settling well off the pitch, and fans will hope that he can take that prolific form into his real life performances.

Alli added that he has the upper hand in his friendly rivalry with teammate and best pal Eric Dier.

He said: “Yeah, it’s very close match-up to be fair. He is surprisingly good at the game but I still beat him most of the time.”

Tottenham are looking to bounce back from a weekend defeat to Liverpool with upcoming cup games against Gent and then Fulham.

Both matches could provide Janssen with a chance to get on track, with Harry Kane likely to get a rest in one of them. With his Premier League minutes limited as of late, it will be an opportunity he needs to seize.
