The 22-year-old has scored 15 goals in 33 games in all competitions for Eastleigh and his performances have brought him to the attention of clubs higher up the football pyramid again.
Wigan are looking to add to their attacking ranks before the close of the transfer window and sources have told HITC Sport that they have agreed an undisclosed fee with Eastleigh for the Frenchman.
Mandron was highly-regarded after Sunderland beat a host of clubs to his signature as a 16-year-old in France.

However, the attacker made only three first-team apppearances during his time at the Stadium of Light as he struggled to make an impact on Wearside, although each of those games were in the Premier League.
Mandron had three loan spells out at Fleetwood Town, Shrewsbury Town and Hartlepool United before being released by Sunderland last summer, but he has got his career back on track.
