Spurs would be taking a risk, but it might pay off.
Tottenham Hotspur are seemingly not set to make a move in the transfer market this month. That is despite the fact they are still not exactly blessed in the striking department.
Harry Kane is of course the star of the show, but Vincent Janssen has struggled to make any impact for Spurs.
So should Spurs take a look at a new striker? One slightly outside the box?
The player in question is Grimsby Town striker Omar Bogle.
The 24-year-old has scored 19 goals in 30 appearances for Grimsby this season and has been linked with a move to several Championship clubs.

But why not give him a shot at the big time.
Bogle has been something of a late bloomer and is now finding his best form. He is a strong and powerful attacker who is undoubtedly a rough diamond.
But Tottenham are always on the hunt for a bargain and Bogle could prove to be a massive steal. It could be a massive flop, he may never meet the level necessary at Spurs to become a Premier League striker.

But he would cost little in terms of transfer fee and he would be a gamble that if it fails, would not be too costly to Spurs.
Why spend millions on a potentially expensive flop when they could give a chance to a hard-working striker to play back up to Kane.
