Hogan has previously said he has no interest in moving to another Championship club as he has his heart set on a switch to the Premier League and he has again reiterated his desire to Brentford after being informed of Villa's offer.
Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion are both understood to be monitoring Hogan's situation and could make a move for the 24-year-old before Tuesday's transfer deadline.
It remains to be seen if Villa's offer being accepted by Brentford will force West Ham into making a new bid for Hogan.
